HP Devices Known Issues & Limitations

Here is a List of Known Issues and or Limitations with the HP Workpath Platform for OptimiDoc Cloud.




1.No Support for Mobile Phone Device authentication sign-in 

The OptimiDoc Mobile Phone application currently supports the use of Remote Authentication by 2 Methods, Scanning a QRcode and or Selecting the Printer from your List of authorised Printers for other Vendors, There is no HP support.


2. The OptimiDoc Console app has a Copy Function that does not use Flatbed, only copy using Sheet Feeder



3. OptimiDoc Authentication Application supports the placement of a optimiDoc generated Device QRcode, however it cannot be used therefore do not Enable it. Also if you enable the Pull Print All Yes/No option, it does not allow the QRcode to fit on the Console screen,  regardless if it fits or not; HP users cannot use the QRcode anyway.








4. OptimiDoc HP Console application, Logout ICON is obscured by other ICONS and text - This Should be resolved next Release.


5. OptimiDoc HP Console Authentication Application indicated the use of PIN and or Card, (Card is not supported when this interface is open, only PIN) the message should be removed in next release.


To use a Card, you must tap the card on the reader when the console screen is in view, you cannot use card if you tapped Sign-in.
